There are thousands of natural wonders in the USA; however, only a few are considered the “best.” With so much to see in this amazing country, how can you decide which nature spots are worth your time? Don’t get overwhelmed; all you need to do is choose one of these amazing destinations where uniqueness meets breathtaking beauty. Check it out.

#1 – Niagara Falls, New York

Niagara Falls is an impressive sight, but it’s not just its size that makes it a wonder. Located just outside the city of Niagara Falls, New York, on the border between Canada and the United States, Niagara Falls has been attracting tourists for centuries due to its striking beauty. The American side of the falls drops 167 feet (50 meters) and shoots out a single stream that spreads out into a mist-like spray near the bottom. Meanwhile, the Canadian side sends its waters down three separate paths: the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Rainbow Falls.

#2 – Everglades National Park, Florida

The Everglades is a subtropical wetland in Florida, and it contains the largest mangrove ecosystem in the United States. This natural marvel is a one-of-a-kind habitat that has been declared a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It’s also the largest park in the country and includes over 200 bird species, crocodiles, alligators, panthers, and many other animals. The Everglades is home to numerous Native American tribes, including the Miccosukee Indians and Seminoles.

#3 – 18 Yosemite National Park, California

Yosemite is a wonder of nature, with a unique ecosystem, beautiful scenery, and impressive rock formations in the familiar Sierra Nevada mountain range. It’s one of the top places in the United States to get away from it all, with gigantic trees and towering cliffs that seem more like a scene from The Lord of the Rings than an actual place on earth. The park attracts millions of visitors each year from around the world, who come to hike its trails, canoe its waterways, climb its rocks, and enjoy its natural beauty.

#4 – Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Nestled in Arizona’s Mojave Desert, the Grand Canyon is a sight to behold and a natural wonder not to be missed. The canyon’s 277 miles run from Lake Powell to the outskirts of Flagstaff, Arizona, and it ranges from 6 to 18 miles wide. You can spot the Grand Canyon from the aircraft when you fly into Las Vegas, but that view doesn’t compare to being there, looking down into its depths, and watching the sunset over it.
