Joe Biden Meets with FEMA to Prepare for Extreme Weather Events

President Joe Biden recently met with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials to discuss preparations for hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, and other such extreme weather events. President Biden emphasized the importance of the Federal Government being prepared to respond swiftly to any extreme weather scenario in order to support Americans in times of need. Biden also discussed how they could enable communities to become more resilient in the face of extreme weather, which has been made worse by climate change.
